Jessica Gonzalez-Lane considers herself lucky to have been born and raised in the great State of Texas. Having grown up in Killeen she has been able to watch the place she calls home evolve into the city it is today. It is most important to her that she be a productive part of this growing society and give back to the community and the families in it. Jessica is not only a mother of two beautiful girls, but she is a political contributor, a community volunteer, an actress, public speaker, an event coordinator, and a Professional Realtor®. She has said that she is "now honored to add to my resume, Founder & Director of the H.O.U.S.E. Theater Arts Group Harker Heights Chapter".
All of her past experience in theater, film and her personal business ventures have prepared her and opened up the doorway to share what she has learned. Also it has given her the freedom to express herself and her desire for a strong sense of community. It is her sincerest goal to ensure that every person, young and old, receive the highest level of compassion, respect and enlightenment that within them lies a mighty soul that is destined to do great and wonderful things.
She holds true the saying "You Reap What You Sow" and she chooses to motivate, educate, and inspire all that she may encounter.
About Us
Our Mission:
H.O.U.S.E. Theatre Arts Group is a 501-(c)3 Non-profit Organization in good
standing since 2002. It’s organization develops a Community based approach,
designed to foster our youth and economically disadvantaged families by
experiencing the power of The Arts. The acronym stands for Helping Our
Under-served Skills through Education. The aim is to design interventions where local
city officials, schools, universities, diverse church ministries and life-changing
organizations work collaboratively in a positive way for the betterment of the
community.
Our Goal:
We embrace organizations who seek positive outcomes through community-based
interventions for economically disadvantaged families and troubled youth. H.O.U.S.E
aims to provide positive instruction in theatre, acting, dance and other art forms.
Our desire is to also provide both the youth and the adults of our community an outlet in which they are able to realize their talents and hidden potential. It's important that we create a sense of unity in our vast community and raise awareness that TOGETHER we can do anything we set our minds to. As we learn about oursleves, we will learn about each other, ultimately we will then be able to give back and broaden our horizons.
Our Purpose:
Art intervention opens the mind and allows individuals to release through
expression, which teaches the value of individual creative thought as well as learning how to collaborate and work as part of a larger team. More importantly, it helps all involved build and develop self-esteem. H.O.U.S.E. Theater Arts Group along with R.E.A.P. have taken the first step to, impact, impart and empower families, neighborhoods, youth and adults from all walks of life in a positive way that will evolve into a better quality of life, filled with hope and a positive future for us all. You reap what you sow...We are Ready to Empower All People and sow seeds of goodness into the hearts of humanity.
